Bee Collector – a professional bee vacuum device.

This is a do-it-yourself assembly version. The set includes instructions and all necessary parts to assemble the device. Putting together the Bee Collector is a fun activity that will bring you a lot of joy.The Bee Collector is used to extract bee colonies from hard-to-reach places such as building cavities, interior structures, thorny bushes, chimneys, or simply high locations.
Operating Principle: A vacuum cleaner connected to the Bee Collector creates negative pressure inside it, allowing us to suck bees through the tube included in the set. The device has protection against sucking bees directly into the vacuum cleaner and suction power regulation. The separator requires connection to a standard vacuum cleaner with a 35mm or 32mm tube diameter (adapter included). The vast majority of vacuum cleaners on the market have one of these two sizes. The method may look quite drastic at first glance, but the bee colony is not harmed, and it is often the only way to save it. I have been using this device for 3 seasons, and out of tens vacuumed colonies, all survived the operation and developed well after being placed in a new hive.

● Transferring a bee colony from a heavy hive, e.g., wooden horizontal hive, log, or other heavy hive.
● Humane removal of nests of other insects, e.g., wasps or hornets

● Wooden swarm box – birch plywood (Langstroth frame 232mm x 448mm – custom sizes available upon request)
